Shaw... Do hereby Certify that Obadiah Hooper a pentioner made his last Draw by power of attorney to James H. Hooper at the Office in Mobile...said power of attorney being sworn to before me on the 4th day of March 1839 and then Deceased on the 31st of May thereafter for I in Person saw his Remains Entered and when I wrote his will he acknowledged the said Sarrah to be his lawfull wife ... Please identity this James Y. Shaw and if you know, how he knew Sarah Sanders Hooper. I will sincerely appreciate any information. Thank you.
